Year-End? No. It’s a New Beginning!

2025 was… a ride.
Dreams, effort, small wins, and awkward lessons, all rolled into one.

And me? I finally stepped out. Yay! 🎉
(Also… very nervous.)

I tried entering the music scene, not in a dramatic way, just the human, messy way:

  • Planned to perform at 20 different places
  • Courage? Suddenly on vacation 😅
  • What actually happened: I handed out flyers, introduced myself, and let people see a bit of who I am

Best word for it? Awkward. Hahaha.

But the important part is: I moved.
Even if it wasn’t perfect. Even if it was small.

Then came a big moment.

I was offered a chance to sing at a Christmas event in Mactan Shrine.
A real chance to shine.

And what did I do? I paused.
Because I thought: “What if I’m being rude to the other singers?”
Too polite. Too careful. 😬

Looking back, I probably should’ve said yes right away.
Mottainai. hehe. But also… shouganai.

Here’s the takeaway, for me, and maybe for you too:

It doesn’t matter if your start is awkward or not perfect. Showing up counts. Trying counts. Moving counts.

2026 is here. Whatever you didn’t finish last year?
Bring it forward. Try again. Do it messy. Do it anyway.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Let’s make this year count — for real, and for us.

Day 1: Stepping out… Figuring out

After long days of preparation, today I finally decided to start. And honestly… I have no idea what comes next. 😅

I’ve planned so many things: perform at places, meet people, share my music, make an impression…
But right now? I haven’t done any of that yet. I don’t know where to go first, who to talk to, or how to even begin.

All I know is I need to take the first step.

So here I am:

  • Flyers in hand
  • Heart pounding
  • Trying to show people a little bit of who I am

Weird? Definitely. Hahaha.

And I know I’m not alone. Anyone starting something new probably feels the same way.
The truth is, you can plan all you want, but Day 1 is always messy and unsure.

But that’s okay. Because starting is the hardest part.
Even if I don’t know exactly what to do next, even if I make mistakes, even if it’s messy… I’m moving. And that counts.

So here’s what I realized:

You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just start. Take one step. See what happens. Learn along the way.

Whatever you haven’t tried yet, bring it forward. Start, even if you feel clueless.
I’m stepping out today. I’m figuring it out as I go.

See you all when I see you!

Need More Sleep…

It’s already December… and I thought I would have started my singing journey weeks ago.

Turns out, there’s a lot to prepare. Well… at least for someone like me: a mix of introvert and perfectionist 😅.

My eyelids are twitching from all the late nights these past months (and maybe too much caffeine?). It’s been exhausting, but also… super rewarding.

And thanks to my phone breaking down earlier, I could focus on the work I really needed to do. Haha. Looks like the universe got tired of waiting for me to get moving and decided to give me a little push. 😅 Thanks, universe!

Now, I’m slowly getting ready to step into the music world this month. Most of the prep is done. The tricky part? Negotiating with my perfectionism: convincing it to set the bar a little lower for now. Haha. Or maybe I’m just a little scared…

But that’s okay. Because, as they say, starting is always a bit scary. And figuring it out as you go is part of the adventure.

That’s all for now. See you all when I see you!

The Unexpected Beauty

Hi! I’m Luna.
The picture above was taken in Sison, Pangasinan, Philippines. I was on my way to Baguio from Clark Airport in Pampanga. The bus ride took around 4 to 5 hours.

It was a rainy day and the trip was quite long, so I thought the trip would be boring. But I was wrong! For two hours, I just kept watching the wide, green farmlands on both sides of the road. They were so beautiful that you wouldn’t even want to sleep!

This is just one of the photos I took in Sison, Pangasinan. If I ever get the chance to travel again, I’ll definitely visit this place. And if you ever have the chance, you should visit it too! It’s wonderful—the nature here is fresh and beautiful.

Bisaya Version Below 🙂

Silent Beauty Found

I’m a big fan of amazing designs. This photo was taken in SM City Cebu. It’s a section at their Food Court that really captured my attention. It’s simple, natural and very inviting. Whoever was the interior designer of this area is really talented! Nindot kaayo ang view! Both in the photo and in person, nindot jud sya.

If you are a foreigner and happens to visit Cebu, if you go to SM, you might want to lounge in this area. I hope it’s not yet transformed into something else by that time though. But even if they change it, I think they will pick and even better design. Bisita nya pod mo dira ha!
