Year-End? No. It’s a New Beginning!

2025 was… a ride.
Dreams, effort, small wins, and awkward lessons, all rolled into one.

And me? I finally stepped out. Yay! 🎉
(Also… very nervous.)

I tried entering the music scene, not in a dramatic way, just the human, messy way:

  • Planned to perform at 20 different places
  • Courage? Suddenly on vacation 😅
  • What actually happened: I handed out flyers, introduced myself, and let people see a bit of who I am

Best word for it? Awkward. Hahaha.

But the important part is: I moved.
Even if it wasn’t perfect. Even if it was small.

Then came a big moment.

I was offered a chance to sing at a Christmas event in Mactan Shrine.
A real chance to shine.

And what did I do? I paused.
Because I thought: “What if I’m being rude to the other singers?”
Too polite. Too careful. 😬

Looking back, I probably should’ve said yes right away.
Mottainai. hehe. But also… shouganai.

Here’s the takeaway, for me, and maybe for you too:

It doesn’t matter if your start is awkward or not perfect. Showing up counts. Trying counts. Moving counts.

2026 is here. Whatever you didn’t finish last year?
Bring it forward. Try again. Do it messy. Do it anyway.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Let’s make this year count — for real, and for us.
