Day 1: Stepping out… Figuring out

After long days of preparation, today I finally decided to start. And honestly… I have no idea what comes next. 😅

I’ve planned so many things: perform at places, meet people, share my music, make an impression…
But right now? I haven’t done any of that yet. I don’t know where to go first, who to talk to, or how to even begin.

All I know is I need to take the first step.

So here I am:

  • Flyers in hand
  • Heart pounding
  • Trying to show people a little bit of who I am

Weird? Definitely. Hahaha.

And I know I’m not alone. Anyone starting something new probably feels the same way.
The truth is, you can plan all you want, but Day 1 is always messy and unsure.

But that’s okay. Because starting is the hardest part.
Even if I don’t know exactly what to do next, even if I make mistakes, even if it’s messy… I’m moving. And that counts.

So here’s what I realized:

You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just start. Take one step. See what happens. Learn along the way.

Whatever you haven’t tried yet, bring it forward. Start, even if you feel clueless.
I’m stepping out today. I’m figuring it out as I go.

See you all when I see you!

When Life Hits Just as You Start

Have you ever noticed something funny about life?

Before you’re really ready, everything seems easy. Tasks feel simple, time feels on your side. You think, “I can do this in no time.” But the moment you decide to go all-in, life suddenly loves to throw curveballs at you.

That’s exactly what happened to me a few days ago. I didn’t post about it right away because, well… I wanted to finish my costume first. Haha.

Here’s the story:

When I wasn’t fully sure about my goal yet, my phone worked perfectly. I could even play mobile games without a single glitch. Life seemed smooth.

Then, the moment I finally set my real target and decided to get serious… boom! My phone broke. 😅 It felt like life itself was saying, “Oh, you’re ready now? Let’s test your courage.”

And that’s kind of how it feels when you start something new. The timing never feels perfect. The tools might fail. You might feel clueless or unprepared.

But here’s the thing: that’s exactly the moment that counts. The moment you try anyway, laugh at the chaos, and keep moving.

So… if I can’t find a replacement for my phone just yet, maybe just tag me on social media for now when I’m already performing in public. Haha.

Anyway, let us all remember that starting isn’t about being perfect. It’s about taking the step, even if life throws a few surprises at you.

Two Hands are Just Not Enough 😅

It’s been a few weeks since we started building this website… and wow, it’s a lot of work. Not only are we creating everything from scratch but we also have other super important things to take care of too.

Being a small team for now comes with its challenges, sure. But that’s okay, this is what we chose.

Yes, we’re exhausted every day. But the satisfaction we feel every time we make progress? That’s something to be proud of. 😁 Just knowing where we’re headed makes the sacrifices feel tiny — almost invisible — and definitely worth it. This website will soon help so many people — first the Filipinos, and hopefully others around the world too. So all is well.

I should have posted these first updates weeks ago, but I was busy making my performance outfits (I am stepping into the music world soon). I can’t trust anyone else with the sewing. Not only would it cost too much, but most of my designs are in my head. I tweak things as I go. Other tailors? Off-limits. They can’t choose for me. Haha.

Anyway, the costumes are done now, and I finally have a little time to write. Yay! So here’s the first post for Kribol. I’m planning to officially launch my online presence next week.

Oh, yes, for sure you don’t know me yet. I go by Kobe Mori online, but my real name is Ray John Bultron. I’m a songwriter and… soon, a singer. Believe it. 😊

Singing wasn’t my plan at the start. I just wanted to write songs, but the people with great voices who were interested before had other plans. So, shouganai… I’m the one holding the mic now.

So yeah, this is the first post ever for this website! Omedetou gozaimasu to myself!

See you next time, guys. And for those in Lapu-Lapu City or nearby areas, I hope to meet you in person once I step into the spotlight! I’m excited… and nervous too… but all in a good way.

Thanks for coming to Kribol!

Kobe Mori is coming to town soon!
